ECS Athletics Sports – on today

Atheletics Day 2024 – On today Wednesday 30 October 

Kia ora Parents and Caregivers,

We want to confirm that Athletics day will occur as scheduled today, Wednesday, 30 October 2024.

Students can come to school in either their PE uniform or house colours.  Please remeber it is a cool day, so please ensure they have warm clothing.  

Please see below the approximate schedule:

Juniors:  Years 1 – 4 begin at 9am and go through until 10am. They will rotate around a number of field and fun events as small groups. 

Seniors: Years 5 – 10  begin at 10am and go to 1:20pm competing in their track & field events. 

Junior Sprint Events: Years 1 – 4 approximately 1:45- 2:30 pm 

House Relays & Tug of War  2:30 – 2:45 pm
