Dear Parents and Caregivers
As you are hopefully aware we have our Year 5-10 Swimming Sports event on Thursday this week. This event is held at the Wharanui Pool in Elizabeth Street (Riccarton)
You are very welcome to come and watch these events over the afternoon. Please be aware we only have the pool from 12pm as another school is using the morning session.
Year 5 and 6 events will start as close to 12 as possible, students will get changed at school (and then wear their PE uniform over their swimming togs to travel to the pool). We expect them to return to school leaving the pool at about 1pm.
Year 7-10 Students will start their events around 1pm.
While we are aiming to have the Year 7-10 students back at school as close to 2:45 as possible to go home for the day it is possible they maybe slightly delayed.
Please ensure that they bring a good lunch as there are no options to purchase food and they are often in need of a bit extra after swimming.
